This is the Amazon-specific problem worth reading twice. Your AirDrop address line 2 carries a routing token in the form METHOD-TIER-ACCOUNT (for example AIR-RUBY-10493). That token is how a box gets matched to you. Copy it from your dashboard exactly — a package that arrives without it has to be identified by hand, which is the single most common cause of a delayed package. Amazon runs every new address through an automatic verifier, and when it does not recognise a suite or unit it will offer you a "corrected" version — sometimes with line 2 rewritten, shortened, or gone. If your token is stripped, your box arrives at our warehouse anonymous.

When Amazon offers a suggested address next to the one you typed, choose the one you typed.
Save the address, then re-open it from Your Addresses and read line 2 back. If it changed, edit it back and save again.
Give the address a nickname like "AirDrop JA" so you never pick the wrong one at speed on your phone.
Check it again after any Amazon app update — re-verification has been known to re-apply a suggestion.

What Prime is actually worth to you

Two stages, and only the second is ours. First Amazon delivers to our Florida warehouse on whatever domestic speed you chose — same day to about a week, and Prime is what shortens it. Then the package is photographed into your account and flies: air freight is 2 to 5 business days from that point, Express 1 to 2, SeaDrop sea freight 5 to 10. The date Amazon shows you at checkout is the end of stage one, not the day it reaches Jamaica.
